The goal of the worship ministry at Redeemer Presbyterian Church is to lead people into a deeper connection with Jesus Christ. We are calling the people of Inverness, Florida into a real, lasting, and secure relationship with their heavenly father. One of the ways that we do this is on Sunday morning at 10:30 AM by using a combination of music, video, scripture, and prayer that will help guide the congregation to focusing on their Heavenly Father.
We understand that throughout the week, we all can get run down and forget to focus on God the Redeemer. Sunday morning worship service helps us to refresh our faith in a real and enjoyable way.
Redeemer Presbyterian Church adopts, as part of its vision, to continue to pursue corporate worship that is characterized by adoration and worship of our God through the preparation and engagement of our hearts and minds, and through the preaching of the Word. The style of worship will be characterized by a blending of structure, content, and worship leadership, seeking to engage both the hearts and minds of those individuals gathered to worship. Our intent is to help our visitors and members focus on a heart-felt adoration toward our Lord.
Music will be God-centered, a blend of hymns set to contemporary music, traditional hymns, as well as contemporary worship music. The structure/content of the order of worship, in addition to the centrality of the preaching of the Word, will contain Scripture, testimonies, confessions, and creeds, when appropriate, but not necessarily all these elements every Sunday.
We recognize that times of prayer and informing the congregation of church family life activities continue to be an important part of our worship. We desire an integrated approach to worship in which the preaching and other aspects of the service be consistent in content and theme. We always need to seek to be led by His Spirit, remembering that Jesus, the Head of His church, said in John 4:23, “But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such worship to Him.”
We invite you to come fellowship with us this Sunday morning at 10:30 AM!
